Lady Diana's Wedding Dress Designers - March 1981

Elizabeth And David Emmanuel

Diana was introduced to the Emanuel's through a photo shoot she did with British Vogue. Without revealing who the clothes were for, the magazine asked the Emanuel's to send in some pieces that might be suitable. The Emanuel's were one of 6 designers asked to submit their ideas on how they would design Diana’s wedding dress if given the commission. David and Elizabeth were delighted to be chosen, and even further delighted that they and three of their employees were invited to the wedding as guests.
